Pamela Curran Smith for Cook County Judge in the 12th Judicial Subcircuit
Pamela Curran Smith boasts a broad legal background, having advocated for countless clients in court handling criminal and civil litigation, family law, personal injury, guardianship, probate, DCFS matters, appeals and employment disputes.
Pamela has been found QUALIFIED OR RECOMMENDED FOR CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE by the Alliance of Bar Associations, which includes 12 local bar associations plus the Illinois State Bar Association.
Standing beside her clients in court, Pamela has witnessed the impact of the judiciary on litigants, which has given her a greater understanding of the effect of a judge’s ruling and gravity of the consequences.
Pamela Curran Smith is a candidate for Cook County Judge in the 12th Judicial Subcircuit, which includes areas of Inverness, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Arlington Heights, Prospect Heights, Wheeling, and Northbrook. (Click here for link to map)

Meet Pamela Curran Smith
Pamela grew up in Jefferson Park on the northwest side of Chicago. She is a lifelong Cook County resident and attended college at the University of Illinois at Chicago and law school at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she graduated in 2006. Pamela moved to the northwest suburbs sixteen years ago where she and her husband, a high school teacher, are raising their two sons, ages 8 and 9.
