Pamela Curran Smith Addresses New Members of International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 2; Applauds Veterans Assistance Program

The International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 2 recently launched a Veterans Assistance Program ("VAP") in November 2023. I was invited to speak at the union's headquarters regarding the program and watch as new union members took their oaths.

The VAP intends to bridge the gap for Veteran members of the union, serving in an advocacy role helping to connect Veterans to earned benefits, promoting the members efforts to support our Veterans, and as a powerful lobbying arm on issues of importance to Veterans and their families.
